Partnership and Collaboration for Change
Collaboratory’s approach to research ensures that community knowledge and lived-experience is embedded in all of our research projects. Local community focused organisations, who help co-create our projects and take on the role of community supervisor, are a vital part of this approach. Their specialist knowledge and connection to local people ensures that each research project remains responsive and relevant to the needs of our communities.
Meet Our Community Supervisors
The role of Community Supervisor is unique to Collaboratory. A Community Supervisor is a practitioner from a local community-focused organisation who supports a Collaboratory research candidate as a formal part of the project’s supervision team. Community Supervisors use their expertise as active practitioners to guide and support candidates, ensuring their research can remain relevant and responsive to real-world challenges.
